Lights Camera Score

Ladies and gentlemen, quiet please…

...it is time for LIGHTS, CAMERA… SCORE!

Lights Camera Score is a project has been designed to connect

young people’s everyday experiences with music to instrumental learning.

About Lights Camera Score
Since the beginning of 2020 Little People Big Noise has been delivering a pioneering next project developed by our inhouse team in association with Three Stones Media.

Lights Camera Score connects musical learning and instrumental music education with the routine cultural experiences of film, computer games and television. Working with some of the nation’s finest musicians and composers, young people get to create the stories and scripts for bespoke animated films.

The stories and narratives are animated by industry professionals whilst our project teams initiate term long projects with schools and community groups to create the musical soundtracks that will help bring the films to life.

With the support of Arts Council England and the BBC Concert Orchestra, the 2021 edition of Lights Camera Score has been delivered in association with THAMES (the Tower Hamlets Arts and Music Education Service).

Young people from eight schools, as well as participants from the Saturday Music Centre, have produced more than a dozen films projects which we are delighted to share with you!
