The Place I Love!
Little People Big Noise were delighted to present the finale of their Lights Camera Culturedale project in Halifax this week. On Monday morning, the amazing musicians of the English Chamber Orchestra performed side by side with young primary school musicians.
On the programme were twenty-six compositions and songs written by the pupils themselves. Later in the day the student performers and invited schools formed an audience of 900 as the English Chamber Orchestra performed a unique programme of instrumental pieces celebrating the power of music.
In two weeks time, we will be sharing eight films created by the young people who took part in this six month long project but in the meantime here is a sample of the music that was heard during the live performances.
